What is your life purpose?

Please read this, so you can remember just how important you are.

Have you ever questioned the purpose of your life? What is the meaning behind all the ups and downs, the joys and struggles, the successes and failures? It's a common human experience to seek a deeper understanding of our existence and our place in the world.

But what does it really mean to have a purpose in life? Is it a grand, overarching mission that we must discover and fulfill, or is it something more personal and subjective?

The truth is, there is no single answer to this question. The purpose of your life may be different from that of someone else's. It may even change throughout your life as you grow and evolve as a person.

However, there are some general guidelines that can help you find your purpose and live a more fulfilling life.

First, it's important to understand that purpose doesn't necessarily have to be tied to a career or a specific achievement. It can be something as simple as making a positive impact on the people around you, or finding joy in pursuing your hobbies and passions.

Secondly, purpose often arises from a sense of personal values and beliefs. When you identify what's most important to you, it becomes easier to find meaning in your daily life and align your actions with your values.

Finally, purpose often involves a sense of contribution to something larger than oneself. This can be through volunteering, activism, or even just being a supportive member of your community or family.

It's important to remember that finding purpose is not a one-time event. It's an ongoing process of self-discovery and growth. As you explore different aspects of your life and experiment with new experiences, you may find that your purpose evolves and becomes clearer.

In the end, the most important thing is to live a life that feels meaningful to you. Whether that means pursuing a specific career path, building strong relationships with loved ones, or simply enjoying the present moment, the purpose of your life is ultimately up to you to define.

This is a snippet from a session with my client. I felt that I must share this because we all have moments when we feel that we are not important, that our life has no meaning, and that we are not needed. You must eradicate these thoughts from the moment they show up. Otherwise, you may slip onto a dangerous route of depression.

Use this simple exercise as a daily reminder of just important you are. Use the text as a template for creating your own exercise or follow along with the video.

{{ G – me/Guzalia Davis; T – my client }}

G: What is important right now for you?
T: Business building.

G: Business for what?
T: Some money, but mostly, for satisfaction.

G: The sense of achievement? Yes?
T: Yeah.

G: What the sense of achievement will do for you? How would having a sense of achievement will make you feel? You have a sense of achievement right now. You feel a sense of achievement now. What does it mean? T: That means that I do something useful for others.

G: You feel that you have a purpose? Right?
T: Yes.

G: What else does it make you feel?
T: I do something useful for myself. I don’t waste my time. Time is a finite resource. I use it for something good. But if I go even beyond, and then I think, well who cares. I mean, in 100 years from now.

G: You want to leave something behind?
T: I don’t know.

G: You want to leave an imprint in this world?
T: Maybe yes, maybe no. If I think too deeply into this, I’m kind of like “Who cares”. I mean if I leave something or not because it’s just this dust particle.

G: Is that how you feel right now?
T: Well, I feel this quite often. It depends. it’s like levels. If I go up, and I say “Oh yeah, I want to leave something behind. If I go even higher, I’m like “Who cares”.

G: Alright. Keep your eyes closed. Just take a deep breath. Relax a little bit. That speckle of dust is in front of you. You’re looking at it from the outside. It’s just a tiny tiny little speckle. It seems like nothing. Just maybe something sparkly, tiny, shiny. But now, really focus on it and get closer and closer and see it grow. See the details, the colors. That tiny speckle becomes larger and more colorful and takes shape. And as it takes shape, it takes a meaning too. Start to see all the surroundings, all the people that depend on you, people that need your support, your care, your love, your attention, and people whose lives you have touched. Maybe if it was only for a few moments, but you’ve made them feel important. And those tiny moments, when you’ve had this connection, helping people, making them feel important, that spread further, and get passed on through people. And now you have a huge crowd surrounding you. People who you have affected in some positive way, whose life you have touched. Does it feel good now? Step closer step into that image. You’re that beautiful being that has a purpose, has meaning. You are important to everyone that surrounds you. Breathing that energy in. Letting it swirl through the body. It’s not like something new is happening. It was already there. You just needed a reminder, that proof, that understanding of how important you are, how meaningful your existence is. You just needed that little reminder that you are on a mission. Just take a deep breath now. Allow those energies to settle in. You can open your eyes.

You are important! You are needed!
This world is a better place because of you!
